On 29th August, 2021, Rotary Club of Pune Horizon (RCPH) visited Kaldari Village and accomplished Hen Project. The project details are as follows: RCPH 7 members led by The President Rtn. NIlima Patil and 5 members from RC Rajgurunagar, together went to Kaldari Village on 29th August, 2021. At the Kaldari Village, mainly 3 Projects was accomplished, the Chicks distribution by RCPH, Cage donation for Chicks protection by RC Shaniwarwada and Synergy project jointly with RCPH and RC Rajgurunagar for Seeds distribution for Kitchen Garden. Before the start of the project, all Rotary groups, including Rtn. Miratai and Dr. Shastri from RC Shaniwarwada, Sevavardhini team, Block Development Officer Mrs. Snehlata Dev. And her assistant Mr. Gopal Sharma, Sarpanch! Deputy Sarpanch from Kaldari Village gathered in conference room. With the introduction of each other present in the conference room, Sarpanch welcomed all attendees and thanked all for attending. All members also thanked Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch for giving their valuable time. During the meeting, discussion was held on the development of the Kaldari and surrounding Villages, in particular development and upcoming of ladies to start their own business. After the meeting, around 100 ladies and 30 plus gents from the village, Sarpanch, Rotary members, Sevavardhini team, Mrs. Snehlata, Mr. Gopaljee gathered in the temple. After the Pooja. MOC Mrs. GIrijatai welcomed all and in particular thanked Sevavardhini for the major role and work done by the team and by Executive member Mr. Anil Vyas. Each Rotary President Rtn. NIlima, Rtn. MIratai, Rtn. Ajit (President from Rajgurunagar) shared their views and thanked all for attending. President Rtn. NIlima also thanked Sevavardhini representatives and RCP Horizon member Rtn. Sameer for arranging the transportation. RCPH President invited 20 ladies and handed 10 chicks to each ladies. Beneficiaries 20 families and the total cost Rs.20,000. Cage for the protection of hens was donated by RC Shaniwarwada Distribution of seeds to the villagers was done, this is the Synergy project Kitchen Garden jointly by RCPH and RC Rajgurunagar. Beneficiaries 135 families. Further, Mrs. S health Dev and Mr. Gopaljee Sharma gave information under government schemes under Manrega Central Government scheme. Sarpanch and beneficiaries gave vote of thanks. After the meeting all attendees enjoyed lunch made by local Self group
