| Minutes of Meeting | * Attendees: Rotarians Shabbir Nalwalla, Shabbir Poonawalla, Gulu Jagat, Hemant Murarka, Kunjan Jadhav, Nisrin Badshah, Mohammed Badshah, Suhail Ansari * Fellowship by Suhail * The meeting discussed various project proposals and the BOD meeting and dinner. * Rtn. Badshah proposed to have a platelet collection project, now necessary due to dengue. Rashida/Suhail to check with Trinity. * Rtn. Shabbir Nalwalla suggested a project for Village in Velhe for providing cycles or footwear. it was suggested to go for footwear. Rtn. Shabbir to follow up.. * Rtn. Shabbir Nalwalla suggested the Ladies old-age home in Phursungi as a project. To decide on what can be provided. Bedsheets are proposed. Rtn. Shabbir to check on the requirement. * For Rakhi Rtn. Badshah suggested to approach Kondhwa police to do a Rakhi ceremony with the lady officers. Rtn. Kunjan and Suhail to check with. Suhail checked with PSI Subhash Sundrik, who said that such an event is possible. However, you have to go and finalise with the AI Patankar who is in-charge of such matters. Rtn. Badshah to take it forward. * President Nisrin advised that she would like to have at least one project from each member. * Suhail suggested that as the Director for New Generation, he can organise the aptitude test for all schools. this project can be done simultaneously through all schools which we know about... Members advised that this can be done in one school and then take it for different schools. Members asked about the scheme in detail which Suhail clarified. Rtn. Suhail to firm up the proposal. Initially it could be done in Girme, Shiva Valley, Hume schools. The members can propose schools. * It was noted that many projects have been discussed today. It is for the proposer to inform in the next meeting how each of the projects is going to be executed with all details.... * It is proposed to have BOD separate from the dinner. The dinner can be pure veg. The dinner will be contributory. Members can invite guests. Rtn. Suhail proposed that the dinner contribution for the member and his/her guests will be refunded if the guests becomes a member of RCPH. * The Secretarial announcements for August were already done at the installation ceremony. * Rtn. Suhail enquired whether it is possible to have a paid/revert location for the meetings. Rtn. S Poonawalla informed us that earlier we had paid for the meeting location. However a proposal for the same can be considered. * The President concluded the meeting. |
